The 25th September 2008 saw the official opening of Peter Hill gallery in Sheffield. It seems a long time ago since the building work started, but we are now pleased to say that the gallery is finished, and open for business! The opening event was given an added touch of excitement with the arrival of Ric Savage,  the bass guitarist from the Sheffield band Def Lepard, who took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony during the evening. The evening also saw the opening of 'Impressions of China', a collection of paintings by Peter, following his recent visit to China. His new work, together with a collection of other new landscapes of Derbyshire, can be seen at Peter Hill Gallery, 742, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield S11 8TB.
